1. What data do I collect?
I use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website: this may include IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. Analytics only runs after you explicitly accept cookies via the banner on this site; nothing loads beforehand.
If you submit the contact form, I collect the information you enter: first name, last name, email address, and project details. Company, service interest, project timeline, and the newsletter signup are optional. I only ask for what's needed to respond to your enquiry.
I use Adobe Fonts (Typekit) to load the custom typefaces used across this site. This loads a stylesheet from use.typekit.net, and your IP address is sent to Adobe as part of that request.
2. Why I collect it
Analytics data helps me understand and improve how the website performs. Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and, if you opt in, send you occasional updates about Bearded Branding services and design tips.
3. How your data is stored
Contact form submissions are transmitted securely via Web3Forms for email delivery, and are also stored in Bearded Branding's own internal system (C.L.U.) so I can track and respond to your enquiry. This internal system is password protected and is not accessible to the public or indexed by search engines.
Analytics data is stored and processed by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy and security practices.
4. Cookies
This site uses two categories of cookies:
- Essential: a small preference cookie that remembers your cookie consent choice. This is required for the site to function and is not optional.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): only set after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can decline or change your choice at any time via the "Manage Cookies" link in the footer.
5. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to request access to your data, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at the email below.
6. Data retention
Contact form and lead data is kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, if a project goes ahead, for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required by Hungarian accounting law. You can request deletion at any time.
